Background:
Calder and Lawson House of Travel in Hamilton have been providing travel services to companies and individuals for 20 years. As part of their travel services, Calder and Lawson provide information evenings for those customers intersted in learning more about the Europe Travel Show or Contiki tours.
Therefore in order to provide an easy and enagaging way for people to RSVP for these two information evenings, House of Travel contacted Run The Red in order to implement a txt RSVP channel.
Objective:
Provide an easy and cost effective way for people (in the Hamilton area), who are interested in attending a Contiki or European tour information evening, to RSVP via txt.

Strategy:
Run The Red worked closely with Calder and Lawson House of Travel to create and easy and efficient RSVP txt channel.
How Hell Poll Worked:
- In order to RSVP for one of the information evening’s users were asked to txt in the keyword relating to the event (i.e. EXPO for the European Travel Show and PARTY for the Contiki function) through to the short-code.
- After which they were then asked to txt through their name, postal address and age (only for Contiki evening) to receive an invitation by mail.
Result:
The Txt RSVP channel, which ran for 4 weeks, was a great success with over 80 people in the Hamilton area using the channel to receive tickets to the two events.
