TXT4Tips, the SMS-based racing information service developed by Wellington-based company Run The Red Ltd has built a solid and loyal following over its first seven months of operation, said Run The Red Director Justin Boersma.

"With the TAB confirmed as marketing partners early in 2003, TXT4TIPS now includes information on New Zealand Trots and Greyhound racing, as well as the Gallops," said Justin Boersma.

"We are now well on the way towards our goal of establishing TXT4Tips as New Zealand’s premier betting service."

The joint venture between technology partners Run The Red, and specialist racing information provider Racing Ink, has a long term aim of marketing the TXT4TIPS service as a viable information service catering to other sporting events in New Zealand and, eventually, expansion into the overseas market.
