The Task
iStart sought to set up a comprehensive on-line portal showcasing e-Commerce products and services in New Zealand.
The Challenge
iStart aimed to remove any uncertainty based around commitment to e-Business by initiating a knowledge consolidation within the New Zealand industry. Building from the ground up required a full make-over - from brand design, to advertising design, to website design, construction and maintenance. The site needed to be comprehensive and up-to-date and attractive to both the consumer and those in the industry itself. Usability of the site was a very important aspect of both design and implementation.
The Solution
Run The Red came on board early on as an innovative technology partner. The result of this strategic alliance between the two companies is a portal that is the hub of the e-Commerce industry in New Zealand.
The site itself is precise, clear, and emphasises ease of navigation. The information presented is purposefully formatted to appeal not only to those already involved in the industry, but to those who may be considering the benefits of joining or utilising this burgeoning industry.
Most recently iStart has further developed its industry position by publishing a magazine. This publication, as an extension of the portal, is committed to keeping subscribers up-to-date on the latest information technology trends and case studies from New Zealand’s leading providers. |
